Rome, 304 AD...
You are brought to a Roman prefect who asks whether you are a Christian, as you were found not paying tribute to the ‘pagan’ Roman gods. Without hesitation, you declare yourself a Christian, and the prefect calmly responds: “would you rather die by an animal, sword, club, oil, water, fire, cross, suffocation, or dislocation?”
For 250 years, this was the violent, harsh reality for many Christians who lived in the Roman Empire. But to what extent was this the case? Were these 'persecutions' constant and violent? There's only one way to find out... are you ready for a baptism by fire?
